Guitar World International Music Festival presents a concert featuring young jazzmen from Poland -  Rafal Sarnecki’s jazz quartet. The concert will be held on March 20, 2013 at 19:00 in Kaluga Region Philharmonic Hall.

Rafal Sarnecki is a jazz guitar player, composer and arranger. His first recognition came in 2002 when Rafal won Guitar City International Jazz Guitar Players Contest in Warsaw. In 2005-2008 he was a student in the New School (New York), which he graduated with honors. Two years later Rafal got Master of Arts Degree in the field of jazz at Aaron Copland School of Music. Rafal Sarnecki gave concerts in eight European countries, as well as at the East and West coasts of the USA. He was lucky to learn from such outstanding New York jazzmen as Paul Bollenback, Buster Williams, Reggie Workman, and Peter Bernstein.  

Rafal Sernecki’s jazz quarter consists of young masters of jazz: pianist and keyboard player Pavel Kacmarcik, contrabass player Wojciech Pulcyn, and drummer Lucasz Zyta.
