Hijas del Alba
December 8, 19.00. Flamenco Show. Kaluga Philharmonic Society.
Consists of 2 parts:
First part – solo and group performances representing various styles of flamenco, from traditional to modern choreography of the Spanish dance.
Second part:
Hijas del Alba (Daughters of Alba)
Based on F.G. Lorca’s “House of Bernarda Alba”.

Music: Louis Medina
Performers: Christian Losano (Spain) and Russia’s best flamenco dancers
Daughters of Alba is this season’s unique performance. This is the first time when a classic flamenco play involves professional dancers from Spain and Russia! It was created by Xavier Latorre, one of the greatest flamenco choreographers and producers of our time, laureate of the Premio Nаcional de Danza, the highest Spanish award in dance. The play has a classical Spanish structure and consists of two parts – flamenco puro (pure, authentic) and Hijas del Alba (Daughters of Alba).
