PharmEvolution 2017: III International Forum for Development of Pharmaceutical Industry in Russia

Analytical companies predict that the pharmaceutical market will show a positive trend in 2017. A favorable business-climate and investment attractiveness of the industry are due to the stabilization of the political situation in the USA.

The pharmaceutical business in Russia is also demonstrating a promising growth. In 2016 the sales has increased by 20%.  After important industry-specific solutions, the structure of the commercial market of medications has also changed. In September 2016, the industry underwent significant changes as compared to the same period of 2015: the share of medicines with an average cost of packaging has increased, at the same time the share of expensive medications has reduced while the average cost of packaging has gone up. Following the results of September 2016, the study showed that slightly more than a half of medicines in packs sold in the marker are domestic.

In the framework of the forum organized by business daily Vedomosti together with Kaluga Region Government, Agency for innovation development – center for cluster development of Kaluga region with the support of Kaluga Pharmaceutical Cluster, the discussion of industry perspective development will take place.
