From China to Northern Europe via Freight Village Vorsino
An official ceremony dedicated to signing of a memorandum on cooperation between Kouvola Innovation Oy (Kinno) and Freight Village RU was held in Moscow on October 19, 2016.
Kinno is a dynamic development agency of Kuovola municipality. Under the signed memorandum Kinno acts on behalf of Railgate Finland Kouvola logistics facility, located at a 130 km distance to north-east from Helsinki.
Cooperation with Kouvola Innovation provides for new opportunities to arrange container transit from China to Northern Europe countries, including Finland, via Freight Village Vorsino multimodal transport and logistics facility.
In the recent years Freight Village Vorsino has taken part in a number of successful projects related to transportation of cargoes from China to Russia. The list of these projects includes New Silk Road, regular contained shipments from Ust-Luga port as well as contained trains from Nakhodka, Riga, Saint Petersburg.
We hope that cooperation with Railgate Finland Kouvola logistics facility will donate to expansion of intermodal opportunities and will attract more customers interested in railroad transportation of cargoes to Northern Europe countries.
