On May 24, within the frame of XXII Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Government of Kaluga Region, State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs’ (Vnesheconombank) and ‘Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects’ ANCO.
Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga Region, Alexei Ivanchenko, Deputy Chairman of Board – Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Vnesheconombank and Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives signed the appropriate document.
The parties agreed to maintain and develop partner relationship, to enhance coordination and cooperation in investment activities and to develop mutually beneficial and effective cooperation on long-term and stable basis.
Anatoly Artamonov said: “By signing this document we enhance and develop cooperation with our partners, Vnesheconombank and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in investments are. The experience and possibilities of Vnesheconombank and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives will help us in resolving issues of social and economic development of Kaluga Region”.
Joint efforts in forming and accompanying new projects should result in the development of high-tech production, innovations and export of industrial products. A task force will be created in order to coordinate and supervise the progress of implementing the memorandum, which will determine priority tasks of joint activities.
