Tekhnologia ONPP: One of the First Russian Companies to Confirm Compliance with New Aerospace Industry Standards

Bureau Veritas, a leading global certification company, has confirmed compliance of a quality management system of Tekhnologia ONPP named after A.Romashin (a member of Rostekh state corporation) with the updated ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100:2016 standards. Tekhnologia ONPP  is one of the first Russian companies to get a certificate confirming compliance with new global aerospace industry standards.

Tekhnologia ONPP quality management system was audited in June 2017. Prior to the audit the company adapted its quality management system to the requirements of the new global standard. Fifty employees have been retrained and relevant changes have been introduced to internal regulatory documents. In the course of the audit Bureau Veritas specialists evaluated processes implemented at facilities engaged in manufacturing of products of polymer composites and special aerospace transparencies. They also assessed the activities of support departments and services. Special attention was paid to compliance of internal regulatory documents with new standard requirements. Currently  the company uses over 100 internal standards and over 50 operating instructions.

Andrey Silkin, Director General, Tekhnologia ONPP, said: “An ability to respond rapidly to changes is a key to competitiveness, especially in the global market of science-intensive products. We have introduced the new standard a year before the deadline set by  IAQG. This proves the fact that our products meet the most stringent requirement. This also proves that we efficiently control the production process and our quality management system functions in a proper manner.  Upon receipt of the conformation of compliance with the global aerospace industry standards Tekhnologia ONPP will be able to get a better position in the global market and adapt successfully to changing economic environment”.
