Kaluga Region to Present Advanced Developments at INNOPROM 2019 Exhibition

INNOPROM 2019, the 10TH International Industrial Exhibition, is to be held in Yekaterinburg on July 8-11, 2019. For the first time the exhibition was held in 2010. In 2012 the Government of the Russian Federation assigned a federal status to INNOPROM, the largest industrial, trade and export venue of Russia. This year over 600 companies and delegations from 100 countries of the world are to attend the exhibition. Italy, Germany, India, Italy and a number of other countries will open their national expositions there. Turkey is a partner country of INNOPROM. The Turkish delegation will present achievements of the leading Turkish industries, innovative developments and investment opportunities.

The main subject of INNOPROM 2019 is the following: Digital Production: Integrated Solutions. Specialized exhibitions are to be organized within the framework of INNOPROM covering the most acute themes, such as metalworking, additive technologies, technologies for energy sector, industrial automation, machine building and manufacturing of components for machine building industry.  The list of the most acute business agenda subjects includes the following: investments in industrial production, manufacturing processes’ efficiency, digital innovations, digital technologies for the automotive industry, agroindustrial complex diversification, innovative and environmentally friendly technologies, technology leadership.

Kaluga Region delegation headed by Dmitry Denisov, First Deputy Governor of Kaluga Region, is to take part in the congress and the exhibition at INNOPROM.  The delegation is to hold negotiations with major machine engineering, machine building companies, manufacturers of automotive components, tools and robotic equipment.  Kaluga Region exhibition will feature advanced industrial projects and developments of the leading innovative companies of the region, the leaders of construction and automotive industries,  IT and instrument-making sectors.  

For instance, OMNICOMM will present fuel control and transport monitoring solutions for key sectors of the Russian economy, namely, extractive industry, construction, logistics and retail trade.  OMNICOMM implements transport digitalization projects for major Russian and international companies. The company is on the list of TOP10 global providers of motor transport management solutions.

Magnetic separators manufactured by Industrial Magnets OOO are used by 300 companies both in Russia and the CIS countries.  Regional Innovative Industrial Company will present innovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing of energy efficient pneumatic and hydraulic systems of different capacity.   

Kaluga Region exhibition also features information on projects implemented by YIT, a leading construction company. The company has built over 190 different facilities, such as fueling stations, water treatment facilities, plants, factories, residential buildings. In Kaluga Region the company implemented its pilot project. It built a production facility for Rani Plast, Finland. It was commissioned in 2012. The company operates I-Park, its own industrial park, in Kaluga Region. 

Kaluga Pilot Instrumentation Plant regularly takes part in industrial exhibitions. Throughout its history it managed to position itself as a leader in manufacturing automotive security systems and highly efficient street LED lamps  both in the Russian and global markets. Its stand will feature the most recent models of car alarm and anti-burglar systems, car service equipment, telemetric systems, and energy efficient programmable lamps. Apart from that, the following companies will be present at Kaluga Region exhibition: Mercator Kaluga, a major manufacturer of road and municipal equipment, Microelectronics Pilot and Design Bureau, a manufacturer of over 200 types of semiconductor and hybrid microchips; Mineral Coating Technologies, a supplier of products, which are widely used by companies of machine engineering, energy, shipbuilding, oil & gas and steel industries. VMK Invest of Kaluga has been producing aluminum section products for over 10 years. It holds the 5th place in the Russian market and exports 12% of its products abroad. Sobol is a unique production facility. For almost 30 years it has been producing   sports goods for mass sports. The company’s primary area of specialization is the manufacturing of products of composite materials, using mostly local resources. It produces skies, mountain skies and snow boards for Russian and foreign sport brands.

Almost 80% of new production facilities of Kaluga Region operate in 12 industrial parks, about 200 investment projects are being implemented. Fifteen companies are residents of Kaluga special economic zone. There are 10 industry-specific clusters  in Kaluga Region, including a pharmaceutical cluster, a cluster of aerospace composite polymer materials and structures, an agroindustrial cluster, an automotive cluster, a transport and logistics cluster, a construction materials’ cluster and a metalworking cluster. Both Russian and prominent global majors successfully operate in the clusters. Major international companies strive to develop localized production on a long-term basis. They demonstrate their intentions to stay in the Russian market developing their production facilities, increasing the range of manufactures products and building business relations with local suppliers.  The volume of production and the pool of partnering companies grow in line with the geography of export destinations.  Kaluga Region resident companies export their goods to 100 countries of the world.
