On February 15, within the framework of the Russian investment forum in Sochi an agreement was signed between the Kaluga Region and the Russian company “Stankoflot”. Signatures to the corresponding document were affixed by the Governor of the Kaluga Region Anatoly Artamonov and Alexander Andreev, CEO of Stankoflot.

Stankoflot LLC plans to realize their project to build a new enterprise on the territory of the Borovsk’s site of the special economic zone “Kaluga”. Produced products are cutting and auxiliary tools, equipment, high-precision metalware.

The projected investment volume is 1 billion rubles. The planned number of jobs is about 150.

Stankoflot LLC is a non-state engineering company that supports hi-tech and innovative of the domestic economy and also contributes to the development of Russian industry.

The Kaluga SEZ is located on two sites in Borovsky District and in Ludinovsky District and it is the closest industrial site of this type to Moscow. Its area is 1042 hectares. On the territory of the SEZ there are all regional advantages concerning access to engineering, transport and business infrastructure, as well as federal tax benefits and customs preferences. Industrial development within the framework of the SEZ will allow modernizing industrial production of the southern and northern territories of the Kaluga Region and providing conditions for the development of hi-tech sectors of industry.
