On the 5th of September, 2015 the temporarily taking the responsibilities of the Governor of Kaluga Region took part in the opening of the first stage of the distributing centre of the retail food store chain “Pyaterochka” in the territory of the logistics complex Freight Village Vorsino.

 One of the largest Russian retail food store chains  X5 Retail Group became a resident of the modern logistics centre in Vorsino because here there are warehousing, customs, forwarding and insurance services of good quality are provided. The “Pyaterochka” net has arranged here dry storage, low-temperature duty area and a warehousing of alcohol products. The total area of the warehouses is about 39 thousand square metres. From here on goods will go to the supermarkets of Kaluga, Moscow and Smolensk Regions.

Speaking at the ceremony of the centre’s opening Anatoly Artamonov noted  that it was a great opportunity for the promotion of qualitative products of local goods producers for reasonable price to the supermarkets. “I am sure that the new distributing centre will facilitate the development of the agricultural production”, - the temporarily taking the responsibilities of the Head of the Region noted.  Besides he suggested that the managing team of the company should consider the possibility of  the localization of food, cooperative and processing production facilities in this territory and also think over the possibility of the creation  in the Region of one more shops chain within a walking distance with products that will be brought there immediately from the warehouse at lower prices.
