A memorandum of intentions related to implementation of an investment project providing for construction of a plant to produce metal structures and sandwich panels in Kaluga Region was signed between Kaluga Region Government and Vesta Park AO management on December 21, 2015. The document was signed by Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, and Alexander Palazhchenko, Vesta Park AO Director General.
The parties have reached a preliminary agreement on construction of a new production facility in the territory of Kaluga industrial special economic zone. Vesta Park management decided to build the facility in the special economic zone area located in Borovsk district at the border with Moscow Region.
The new plant will be built at a land plot of about 14.2 ha. It is planned to invest RUR2.3 billion in the project. Over 600 new jobs will be created. The products manufactured by the new plant will meet ISO requirements as well as the requirements of all standards applicable in the territory of the Russian Federation. The plant is to produce over 24,000 t of metal structures and over 1 million m2 of sandwich panels per annum. Alexander Palazhchenko said that the plant would be equipped with state-of-the-art automated systems.
Vesta Park has been manufacturing sandwich panels and other construction materials for over 12 years. Its products are widely used for construction of industrial buildings, warehouses and power sector facilities. The company has a reputation of a reliable and highly professional partner. The company applies efficient monitoring systems to control the products at all stages of the manufacturing cycle. The final products are also thoroughly tested.
Anatoly Artamonov noted that prefabricated structures were widely used in various areas, for instance in the industry and agriculture. Apart from that such structures are also used to build public facilities, namely, exhibition centers, trade outlets, sports venues. Anatoly Artamonov also noted: “The new plant is to manufacture heavy steel structures, which may be used for bridges’ construction. This is very important for Kaluga Region infrastructure development projects implementation”.
