KALUGA REGION AT SAINT PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM 2018: DAY 0

Russian SME Forum was held on the opening day of Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum on May 23, 2018. The goal of the event was to discuss the current status of Russian SMEs and measures  to be taken to promote its role in the Russian economy. The discussions were attended by Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor.  

Subjects of the plenary sessions were the following: Business in Russia: Success Story or Failure Academy?, Youth Entrepreneurship: Russian Economy Support Point,  Export of Services by SME: Myth or Reality, Technological Breakthrough: Role of Innovative Hi-Tech SMEs in Russian Economy, Russian Society, Government and Business Readiness for Digital Economy, SME Development Tools: Global Experience.  

The forum agenda includes a networking session so that attendees could hold consultations with successful business experts experienced in building partner relations to implement business idea and get benefits.  

Russian SME Forum was  organized by Ruscongress Foundation in cooperation with Opora Rossii (Support of Russia) All-Russia SME Public Organization.

Notes:

Kaluga Region has taken part in Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum since 2007.  The event not only gives an opportunity to the region to discuss acute issues, but also helpd expand its business ties. Agreement on new projects implementation are key results of business contacts. Kaluga Region concluded agreements with Samsung, Volvo, Novo Nordisk, Nestle and other companies after holding negotiation with them at Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.
