Hemofarm Company is a part of German STADA Arzneimittel AG Group of companies, being one of the major manufacturers of generics in Europe and worldwide.

Hemofarm LLC (STADA CIS Group), project to build full-cycle production plant for solid pharmaceutical products. Today, Hemofarm plant in Obninsk is one of the most modern pharmaceutical production facilities in Russia certified for GMP compliance. Currently, the plant manufactures the following solid pharmaceutical products — Indapamide, Enalapril, Enzix, Enzix Duo. Production capacity of the plant is 80 mln packs per year. Surface of production facilities — 12,300 m2. STADA CIS – Russia is number two in sales volume at international markets, at which STADA is present.

Thanks to this project the region resolved the issue of permanent presence of qualitative and cheap drugs at Kaluga pharmacies and hospitals. In 2014 STADA made decision to build its first Russian distribution center.

STADA AG has 14 production sites and 29 representations worldwide. Majority of them are located in South-Eastern Europe – three in Serbia, one in Montenegro, one in Bosnia, one in the UK, two – in Russia, Obninsk and Nizhny Novgorod, three in Vietnam and one in China. Among these 14 sites, 12 sites, including the one in Obninsk, have international GMP Certificate (Good Manufacturing Practices), which allow shipping products to all European countries.
