Pro Plan, Pro Plan Veterinary Diets, Purina One, Purina One Moya Sobaka, Friskies, Felix, Darling, Dog Chow, Cat Chow, Gourmet brands ensure leading positions of the Company in pet food and pet care business.
Nestle Purina PetCare plant, a branch of Nestle Russia, is located in Vorsino Industrial Park. Wet and dry pet food under Purina® brand is manufactured there.
To date, three production buildings, distribution center have been built. Expansion of production facilities is planned.
Construction of a new pet food plant will begin in 2017 and it will be completed in 2019. 10 bln Rubles will be invested in the project. The Company invested 16 bln Rubles in development of its production facilities and distribution center during its operations in Kaluga Region. More than 950 persons are employed at the operating factory, they are predominantly local dwellers. Some 80% of local raw materials and packaging are used in production; they comply with Nestle strict quality standards. Currently production facilities of the factory used for production of pet food (cats and dogs) are loaded at about 90 %.
