First China International Import Expo (CIIE), major China import exhibition will take place from November 5 until November 10, 2018 in Shanghai.

Total surface of the Expo is 240,000 square meters. It is planned that the Expo will attract more than 1,000 companies from 130 countries worldwide and approximately 150,000 professional buyers. It is forecasted that in the coming five years China will import goods and services with total value of $10 trillion.

National expositions will be represented at the Expo in separate pavilion, and seven industry-specific pavilions will be organized in the following themes: electronics and home appliances, consumer goods, automotive industry, hi-tech, agro-industrial complex and agricultural products, medical equipment and pharmaceutics, commerce and services. Pavilions of innovation technologies, service outsourcing, innovative engineering and design, culture and education and tourist services will be also opened at the venue.

The Russian Federation will take part in the event a guest of honor. Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Economic Development and Russian Export Center AO (REC) are involved in integrated preparation for the exhibition.

Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will present a national exposition at the Expo demonstrating industrial, commercial and investment potential of the country as well as its most promising Russian-Chinese projects. Russian Export Center together with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development will organize stands of Russian enterprises.
