Russian-Chinese EXPO 2019 is to be held on June 15-19, 2019 in Harbin, the administrative center of Heilongjiang province, China, simultaneously with Harbin International Trade and Economic Fair.  This year EXPO  will have the following motto: Chinese-Russian Regional Cooperation: Opportunities, Potential, Future. An intergovernmental commission’s sitting will be dedicated to regional cooperation between Heilongjiang province and Russian Far East regions.

In 2018 189 Chinese companies and regions attended EXPO.  2,700 people took part in the exhibition. About 20 forums,  seminars, round tables, and similar events were organized at EXPO. The attendees noted that the turnover between China and Russia  grew very dynamically.

In 2019 China and Russia celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations’ establishment. An extensive program consisting of 33 forums, panel discussions, and round tables is dedicated to the anniversary.  Attendees are to discuss various aspects related to China-Russia trade improvement, joint projects’ financing mechanisms, promotion of Russian export through Chinese  on-line trading sites, as well as intellectual property protection issues.   

Apart from the main pavilion dedicated to Russian-Chinese cooperation and exhibition areas of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan the attendees may visit heavy machinery and electric engineering  equipment pavilion, pavilions of culture, online trade, and aerospace industry, where the most recent achivements of two countries are demonstrated.  EXPO has an area of 86,000 sq. m.  

Companied engaged in foreign trade may be interested in participating in International Customs Forum. Its main subjects will be cooperation between customs services of China and Eurasian Economic Union members and further improvement of customs procedures to simplify and accelerate them.
