On January 30, 2013 a press briefing of Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga region Governor, was held in Vest regional newspaper press center.  

Answering a question on Lyudinovo special economic zone development prospect  Anatoly Artamonov said that measures are taken to improve transport accessibility of the district. For instance, M-3 Ukraine highway is being modernized under a federal program.  The Governor also noted that it would be necessary to take more active steps to pursue investors to become Lyudinovo special economic zone residents.

Speaking of commissioning of two Kaluga region passenger airports Anatoly Artamonov said that Ermolino Airport would start operations in 2015 and Grabtsevo in 2014 provided all necessary works were complete in accordance with the schedule.

Anatoly Artamonov also spoke of the future of Tsentralny stadium. He said: "A new sports facility will be built in its place which will fully comply with Kaluga residents' requirements". Speaking of Kaluga Region cultural development the Governor mentioned that there was also a plan  to implement another project in Kaluga, namely New Culture Palace.
