On January 21-23, Kaluga Region’s Governor Anatoly Artamonov will join the Russian delegation to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The delegation is headed by Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
The governor will participate in the forum’s plenary sessions. They will be held in discussion format and will be dedicated to experience of Russia’s regions that are most successful in economic diversification and modernization and overall business environment improvement.
Background:
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has been held in Davos since 1971. The goal of the forum is to discuss critical political and economic issues in an informal environment. Membership of the WEF includes around 1,000 major companies and organizations from many countries, including Russia.
