Kaluga Delegation Business Mission in Japan
Kaluga Region Government delegation has paid a business visit to Japan. The visit key objectives are to establish cooperation and to identify new promising projects.
In the course of meetings the parties will discuss the development of trade as well as opportunities for cooperation in the field of science
It is worth mentioning that in the course of the recent visit to Kaluga Region Japanese businessmen paid particular interested in the automotive cluster. We have already implemented a successful project in the automotive industry, namely PCMA Rus OOO, a joint venture of Mitsubishi and PCA Peugeot Citroen.
Note:
Starting from 2006 Kaluga Region has managed to attract direct foreign investments in the amount of US $6.4 billion. 134 investment projects are being implemented in Kaluga Region including 84 projects in industrial parks. 61 new production facilities has already been put into operation. Over 19,000 new jobs have been created.
