Days of Kaluga region exhibition was opened in the Council of Federation building on May 25, 2016. Kaluga Region delegation was headed by Anatoly Artamonov, the region’s governor. Valentina Matveenko, the Chairperson of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation attended the event.
Kaluga Region exhibition features its social and economic achievements. Science-intensive cluster, Russian and foreign hi-tech production facilities, large scale infrastructure projects, logistic hubs, SME development sites, engineering centers and much more determine the regional economy model and promote the development of various industries in the region. Kaluga Region not only constantly increases its scientific and technology potential but also shapes an entirely new living environment and implements unique tourism and recreation projects.
In the afternoon Anatoly Artamonov will speak of new growth opportunities for the region’s economy, methods of coordination and support to promote the development of infrastructure projects, ways of promoting innovative businesses and other stable and balanced growth factors.
