On June 3, at the site of the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the Kaluga region and ELITEX signed an agreement of intent to establish a textile production in the territory of Kondrovo Advanced Social and Economic Development (TASED). This document was signed by the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha and General Director of ELITEX LLC Ivan Marchenkov.

Under the agreement, the investor intends to establish a textile production. The site of Kondrovo Territory of Advanced Social and Economic Development was selected for the project to be implemented. The amount to be invested is 2.5 billion rubles. The estimated number of jobs is up to 500.

The project promoter is TexProm LLC. It was founded in 2012 and specializes in the production of newborn clothing. The factory is located in Smolensk and has its own experimental design shop and an automated layout planning system. High quality 100% cotton fabrics are used in the production.

The company offers colorful design prints, which are applied using the silk-screen printing, which is the best possible method. All products are certified. The main company’s clients are large retail chains.

Ivan Marchenkov: “At the first stage, a knitted fabric factory with a capacity of 600 tons per month will be launched with possible increase of up to 1,200 tons. Our main clients are garment manufacturers. In particular, we are currently considering how we might cooperate with Bosco.”
