Industrial park "Vorsino" Kaluga region again confirmed compliance with federal requirements in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has confirmed the certification of the Vorsino Industrial Park in the Kaluga Region. By order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia No. 3030 dated July 21, 2022, the Kaluga park was included in the federal register.

Since 2016, the inclusion of industrial parks in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has been a mandatory condition for the provision of state support. To do this, parks must go through the procedure for confirming compliance with the requirements by submitting the necessary set of documents.

The first industrial sites that passed the verification procedure in 2016 were the four largest parks in the Kaluga Region: Vorsino, Grabtsevo, Rosva and Kaluga-South. Industrial parks in the region have proven their effectiveness. More than 70 out of 119 new enterprises have been built on their territory.

“Vorsino is one of the first created industrial parks in Russia. But this does not mean that its development has stopped with the arrival of residents. We continue to build new and expand existing infrastructure facilities, we plan to implement interesting and large-scale projects for the development of the park, such as, for example, increasing the capacity of our own water intake and treatment facilities. Certification undoubtedly gives us and our residents additional opportunities to apply state support measures,” said Vladimir Popov, Deputy Governor of the Kaluga Region.

IP "Vorsino" is the first and currently the largest preferential zone of the Kaluga region, both in terms of area and number of residents. Today, more than 50 leading Russian and international companies are implementing their projects here, including Samsung, Loreal, Arkhbum Tissue Group, and NLMK.
