Italian Manufacturer Gervasi Launches Production in Kaluga Region
On November 28, Gervasi East LLC held an official opening ceremony of its truck body manufacturing plant in Kaluga. The Italian company set up production at the facility owned by Kadvi JSC.
The amount invested in the project that will create 30 new jobs was approximately RUR 40-50 million.
“By allocating unused facilities to high-potential manufacturing projects, Kaluzhskiy Dvigatel is getting a good impulse for development. This brings additional profit, allowing the plant to modernize and keep its highly qualified staff. There should be more examples of mutually beneficial cooperation between the region’s traditional companies and investors. We will support such initiatives”, stressed Kaluga Region’s Governor Anatoly Artamonov.
