Kaluga and Finnish Companies: Committed to Cooperating

On April 20-21, the Finnish Ambassador to Russia Antti Helanterä with a delegation will visit the Kaluga Region. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen existing business relations and to find new areas of cooperation, as well as to get to know the investment opportunities of the region.

In the B2B-negotiations with Kaluga companies, Finnish solutions in various fields will be presented: environmental know-hows, educational programs, industrial technologies and equipment, infrastructure solutions.

The program of the two-day visit of the delegation provides for a visit to the administrative and business center of the Kaluga SEZ, going-over the Vorsino Industrial Park, viewing the Park of Atomic and Medical Technologies in Obninsk, as well as visiting the “Volkswagen Group Rus” plant in the Grabtsevo Industrial Park.

It is worth reminding that stable trade, economic, investment and cultural cooperation has been developing between the Kaluga Region and Finland for many years.

Below are the investment projects with Finnish capital that have been implemented in the region: Stora Enso Packaging BB, LLC (production of corrugated cardboard packaging), LLC Karelia-Upofloor CIS (production of parquet boards), JSC Kiilto-Kley (production of dry building mixtures and industrial adhesives), LLC Rani Plast Kaluga (production of polyethylene film).

The visit of the delegation was organized with the aid of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce.
