Among other positive events, which took place in Kaluga Region in July, experts noted the following:  opening of NLMK-Kaluga next-generation electrical metallurgy plant in Vorsino industrial park, the launch of Pajero Sport off-road vehicle production by  Mitsubishi Motors at PCMA Rus OOO plant near Kaluga,  the signing of an agreement on construction of NovaMedika pharmaceutical plant in Kaluga by  Governor Anatoly Artamonov and Vladimir Gurdus, Director General, D-Pharma management company, the opening of the Center for Youth Innovative Creativity in Obninsk,   the completion of a milk plant reconstruction at Kolkhoz Moskva SPK, Borovsk District, the 4th place in the investment climate rating developed by    KPMG and the Union of Russian Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the 8th place in TOP-10 RIA Rating Russian regions’ rating for the density of foreign investments. Among other events the airshow in Kozelsk District dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Normandie-Niemen fighter regiment.

Thus, Kaluga Region has the highest rating (8.3 out of 10) among regions with the highest level of  social and political stability.
