Kaluga Region — TOP-10 rating of industrial policy implementation efficiency

On the margins of INNOPROM-2022, a rating of the effectiveness of the implementation of industrial policy in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for 2021 is presented. The Kaluga region entered the TOP-10, taking 8th place among 85 regions of the Russian Federation.

Deputy Governor Vladimir Popov took part in the session where the results were presented.

The efficiency rating was developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in order to analyze the implementation of the regional industrial policy, to determine the effectiveness of the use of state support tools. This, in the opinion of the organizers, will help determine the growth points for the regions and make more active use of state support measures, which will allow not only to maintain the current level of industrial potential, but also to more accurately work out promising areas of development.

The rating structure consists of five blocks: the first - economic development; the second is the interaction of the region with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the FRP; the third is the legal framework, regional government support measures and development institutions; fourth - business activity of the region, youth policy, industrial tourism; the fifth block is “Digital transformation of the region”.

In the first block - "Economic development of the region" - the Kaluga region took 6th place. According to the block "Interaction of the region with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the FRP" - 7th place. According to the "Regulatory and legal framework of the region" - 5th place.
