Kaluga Region Wins The Most Attractive Region for Investments Award
Russian-German Partnership for Modernization Economic Congress was held on May 13-15, 2013 in Berlin. Kaluga Region was represented at the event by Dmitry Abramov, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Kaluga Region.
The congress agenda provided for a number of business meetings to discuss terms and prospects of Russian-German relations development. For instance, the parties paid particular attention to the development of automotive and machine-building industries as well as opportunities to apply innovative technologies in the course of infrastructure projects to be implemented in the Russian regions.
Upon completion of the Congress the Council of the Russian Economy in Germany held an award ceremony. Kaluga Region received The Most Attractive Region for Investments Award. The expert committee annually award those who make significant contribution to development of economic relations between Russia and Germany.
