Kaluga Region Delegation Presents Region Investment Potential in South Korea
Kaluga Region delegation headed by Vladimir Potyomkin, Kaluga Region Deputy Governor, visited South Korea on October 27-29, 2014.
The delegation held a number or meetings with Korean businessmen in Seoul and delivered presentations on Kaluga Region investment potential.
Giving his preliminary assessment of the visit results Vladimir Potyomkin said that the negotiations with Korean partners had been fruitful. The parties discussed various issues related to cooperation in agriculture, power engineering, automotive and pharmaceutical industries. According to Vladimir Potyomkin, one of the practical results of the Kaluga Region delegation visit was the signing of a memorandum of intentions with Myong-Ji Hospital, Seoul, on construction of a medical diagnostic center in Obninsk.
