Kaluga Region: 100 Robotized Farms in 2 Years
On January 31, the Region’s Minister of Agriculture Leonid Gromov chaired a meeting on the implementation of the ministry’s special purpose program entitled “Creation of 100 Robotized Dairy Farms in Kaluga Region”.
The meeting was attended by managers of local farms as well as representatives of robotized equipment manufacturers.
The regional Ministry of Agriculture is developing the special purpose program “Creation of 100 Robotized Dairy Farms in Kaluga Region” for 2014-2016. Its aim is to establish conditions for technical and technological refitting and modernization of dairy cattle breeding facilities, for increasing output of milk and developing a modern system of service maintenance.
