Kaluga Region and Austria Sign an Agreement on Cooperation in the Aviation Segment

On June 24, Kaluga Region’s Governor Anatoly Artamonov visited the Austrian Republic as a member of the Russian delegation headed by RF President Vladimir Putin. During the visit, the Principal of the N.E. Bauman Moscow State Technical University Anatoly Alexandrov and the President of FREQUENTIS AG Hannes Bardach signed an agreement on the creation of a joint engineering and educational center within the regional aviation cluster.

The parties agreed on the development of innovative projects and improvement of qualification of the industry’s specialists. The agreement will be implemented in Kaluga Region in accordance with the RF Government’s Resolution “On Measures of State Support of Cooperation of Russian Higher Education Institutions, State Scientific Establishments and Organizations Implementing Projects for Development of High-Tech Manufacturing”.
