Open Innovations forum is to be held on October 31 – November 2, 2013 and Open Innovations Expo 2013 exhibition will be held within the framework of the event. Kaluga Region delegation is to present the development infrastructure to innovative activities created in the region and the key innovative clusters (automotive, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biomedicine, IT and telecom).

Anatoly Chubais, Rusnano OAO Chairman of the Board, said that Kaluga Region witnesses the transition from private investment stage to integrated development of the region and knowledge-based economy.    

Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, noted that about 600 Kaluga Region companies were engaged in innovative activities. According to the Governor, he ability of the regional companies to manufacture products, which are in high demand in the global market, is a sufficient proof of Kaluga Region innovative development.
