Sochi 2015 international investment forum is to be held in Sochi. The forum is a reputable venue for constructive dialogue between business and government authorities. An open discussion will be held between representatives of government, business community and experts on the most acute issues of economy development and strategic objectives of the government policy in the field of economy. For instance, key obstacles preventing business development  and specific proposals on business environment improvement will be discussed. 

Kaluga Region delegation headed by Vladimir Potyomkin, Deputy Governor, will attend the international forum.

The discussions will be focused on global economy development, and Russia’s investment and innovative prospects. Apart from that the attendees will deliver presentations of large-scale investment projects implemented by Russian regions.   

Kaluga Region set up 10 industrial parks with the total area of about 6,000 ha as well as Kaluga special economic zone of 1,042 ha. Companies from 30 countries of the world implement over 150 investment projects in Kaluga Region.  Over ten modern industrial clusters have been established in the region, including automotive, pharmaceutical, transport and logistics, agroindustrial, construction materials and metal processing clusters.   Kaluga Region Government has attracted US$ 21.058 billion investments from 2006 till the first six months of 2015.
