On February 19-21 St. Petersburg will host AutoInvest®2014 - the annual international conference on investment attraction to the automotive component industry. Delegates will be offered communication opportunities not only in the form of sessions and discussion panels, but in the format of individual meetings as well.

Dmitry Abramov, Kaluga Region’s Minister of Economic Development, will share the region’s experience in implementation of projects in the automotive segment. The plenary session entitled “Localization. Agglomeration. Supplier Parks. Best Solutions. Regional Cooperation” will discuss the creation of conditions for development of high tech import replacing production facilities, new opportunities and risks associated with localization, specifics of investment regulation in the automotive segment, and cluster approaches to enhancement of competitiveness.

Each year, the conference is attended by up to 500 delegates from 20 countries, including top managers of major auto assembly and component plants, representatives of federal and regional authorities, Russian and international trade unions and associations, as well as leading consulting firms.
