Kaluga Region Is the First to Offer Chinese Version of Investment Portal in Central Federal District
The Chinese version of Kaluga Region investment portal went online on October 20, 2014. This is the first project of its kind in the Central Federal District.
Kaluga Region continuously takes major steps to improve business climate through creation of easy-to-grasp information products for businesses.
Chinese businessmen are able to learn about the Kaluga Region economic potential, get information on available industrial sites as well as on tax benefits and preferences offered to businesses. The investment portal will also help them better understand social and economic situation in the region.
The investment portal was launched in 2012 when Kaluga Region became one of the pilot regions where standards of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives were introduced and tested. According to an investment portals’ rating developed by Expert RA agency the Kaluga Region portal held the 3rd place in 2013. The investment portal promotes efficient cooperation with foreign and Russian investors.
