On October 23, 2015 a delegation of Latin American ambassadors visited Kaluga Region.  The visit objective is to share best practices in the field of creation and development of industrial infrastructure and territorial production clusters in Kaluga Region. A cooperation agreement is to be concluded between the Government of Kaluga Region and the Association of Russian Diplomats All-Russia Public Organization.  

The delegation members are to visit Vorsino industrial park and Freight Village Vorsino, a multimodal transport and logistics center located in the territory of the industrial park, ensuring optimization of its residents’ operations.   Apart from that the ambassadors of the Latin American countries to the Russian Federation are to visit Samsung Electronics Rus Kaluga OOO production facility.  Currently it manufactures 100% of Samsung TV sets, monitors and washing machines marketed in Russia.  

It is worth mentioning that Vorsino is the largest production site in Kaluga Region. The list of its residents includes over 30 leading Russian and global companies,  including Samsung, L’Oreal, Nestle, AstraZeneca Industries, NLMK. The industrial park has an area of  2,246 ha.

In the afternoon the delegation is to meet Kaluga Region Government representatives at Etnomir Culture and Education Center.
