Kaluga Region: On Efficient Ways for Improving Region’s Investment Image
"Growing Market. Medium-Sized Business. Modernization" Conference dedicated to improvement of Russia’s investment image in Germany was held on February 22, in German’s House of Economy in Berlin.
The key topic of the conference was the potential of the Russian-German economic relations that can be realized in the course of the Russian economy modernization.
The focus was on the country’s modernization strategy, which was to lead to creation of millions of new jobs and the Russian economy diversification, as well as launch of new industrial enterprises, which will open up new opportunities for German medium-sized businesses.
Apart from that, the conference participants were discussed the situation in the educational sphere, and, more specifically, the establishment of market-oriented efficient educational system, building close ties between business and R&D institutions, including identification of potential areas for cooperation between Russia and Germany in the said spheres.
