Maxim Akimov Appointed First Deputy Head of the Russian Government Executive Office
Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, appointed Maxim Akimov First Deputy Head of the Russian Government Executive Office upon relieving him from previous duties. The relevant order was signed on May 23, 2013.
In the period between July 2007 and May 2012 Maxim Akimov holding the post of Kaluga Region Deputy Governor, coordinated strategic planning, forecasting and the region’s social and economic development programs. He also took an active part in the international programs, delivering speeches at international political and business conferences. He was also responsible for top priority national projects’ implementation in Kaluga Region. Maxim Akimov was one of the creators of Kaluga Region economic miracle.
