Kaluga Region and the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea signed a cooperation agreement at the “Crimea: The First Spring” tourism forum.

On March 12-15, Kaluga Region’s delegation visited the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to participate in a conference dedicated to cooperation in development of facilities for national tourism, recreation, medical treatment and rehabilitation and the tourism forum “Crimea: The First Spring”.

The results of the forum were formalized in an agreement between Kaluga Region and the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea. The parties will develop joint tourism projects, organize all-year recreation and rehabilitation for the region’s residents in Crimea and exchange information in the field of tourism.

Background:

Crimea is one of the best climatic health resorts климатических курортов of the Black Sea Region. Its recreation infrastructure currently includes 232 hotels, 573 beaches, 6 water parks and 85 modern SPA complexes. Almost six million tourists come here for recreation and treatment every year, including more than 26% - from the Russian Federation.
