New Plant May Form the Basis for a New Industrial park
On March 25, 2013 Governor Anatoly Artamonov visited the construction site of a new concrete plant of Lafarge, France, in Ferzikovo District. The Governor was accompanied by Alex de Valukhoff, Lafarge Russia President.
The new plant with the annual capacity of 2 million t is being built ahead of schedule. Hundreds new jobs will be created.
Apart from that, the new production facility may form the basis for a new industrial park in this part of Kaluga Region. "New production facilities, including those of construction industry may be located here. However, the environment protection is the core issue", said Anatoly Artamonov.
