Aktyubinsk Region: New Business Partner

A delegation of Aktyubinsk Region of Kazakhstan headed by Arkhimed Mukhambetov, the Region Akim, has paid an official visit to Kaluga Region. The key objective of the visit was to study Kaluga Region practices in the field of the territory innovative development and foreign investments’ attraction.

A meeting between the members Kazakhstani delegation and Kaluga Region authorities was held. Dmitry Abramov, Deputy Minister for Economic Development of Kaluga Region, and Ilya Veselov, Director, Agency for Regional Development of Kaluga Region, delivered a presentation on Kaluga Region economic and investment potential and answered questions of the Kazakhstani delegation members. Apart from that Kaluga Region Governor Anatoly Artamonov and Aktyubinsk Region Akim Arkhimed Mukhambetov held negotiations on prospects of further cooperation between the governments of Kaluga Region and Aktyubinsk Region. After successful negotiations the partiers signed an agreement on cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce of Aktyubinsk Region and the Chamber of Commerce of Kaluga Region.
