Plitspichprom ZAO witnesses an active stage of equipment installation in a new lumber sawing shop. The equipment test run is to take place in July 2015.   

The implementation of a project aimed at increasing the production facility’s profitability through deeper processing of timber is close to its completion. Last year a new lumber sawing shop construction began, and now the facility is built. The process equipment is being installed with the assistance of experts from EWD (Germany), the manufacturer.  

Startup and commissioning works will follow the equipment installation and afterwards a test run will take place in July 2014. The design capacity of the new equipment allows producing over 51,000 m³ of finished products (equivalent of 120,000 m³ of round timber) per annum.    

The new lumber sawing shop construction at  Plitspichprom ZAO plant was organized within  the framework of a revamping program.  The company is a leader of the Russian wood processing industry. It is a member of Soyuz industrial group and a key industrial facility of Kaluga Region. The company is a member to Wood Housebuilding Association and Kaluga Chamber of Commerce.
