On June 25, 2013 Governor Anatoly Artamonov held a meeting in Moscow with Ulrich Brandenburg, German Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
The parties discussed future cooperation prospects. It was noted that Kaluga Region constantly improves business climate to ensure success for investors – industrial parks are being developed, a special economic zone has been established in the southern part of the region, qualified personnel is being trained and residential construction programs are being implemented with due consideration of investors’ needs. Currently German businesses actively use all available benefits to implement various projects in Kaluga Region.
Anatoly Artamonov believes that new areas are open for mutually beneficial cooperation. Among such areas are milk farms, woodworking and green energy.
