SPIEF-2015. It’s high time for actions: joint efforts for stability and development!

From 18 till 20 of June the delegation of Kaluga Region, headed by acting Governor – Anatolii Artamonov, will take part in a work of 19th St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF). The forum will gather together heads of states and governments, political leaders, general directors and senior managers of largest Russian and international companies, leading experts of world community, representatives of Russian federal and regional   government body under the slogan: “It’s high time for actions: joint efforts for  stability and development!” Within the forum the summit of the heads of energy companies, the forum of young leaders and the summit of news agencies will take place. For the first time, the session of international debating society “Valdai” will take place in it.

As the organizers of the forum note, the discussions will be focused on four basic directions of business programme: “global economy, new challenges and perspective”, “Russia is possibility space”, “Development of human capital assets and competences”, “The expectation of breakthrough: technologies and innovative solutions”.  

Anatolii Artamonov will be a participant of plenary meetings, seminars and of some sessions in the round-table format, among them “Russia-Japan: the prospects of business cooperation”, «Russia-Turkey:  development at new and higher level”, “Russia-Finland: habit formation, support and development of educative ecosystem”, “Russia-Italy: historical connection is very important for both countries, in order to exist without each other”.

The successful cooperation in commercial and economic field joins Kaluga Region with many other countries. More than 150 investment projects from 30 countries are being implemented on the territory of Kaluga Region. The preferable spheres for investment dialogue with other countries are  machinery manufacturing, pharmacy, timber processing, agriculture, construction industry and the sphere of hospitability.

It is to be recalled that, there are 10 industrial parks in Kaluga Region, with the total area near 6 thousand ha and special economic zone «Lyudinovo” with a total area more than 1 thousand ha.  More than 10 industrial clusters are formed, among them automotive, pharmaceutical, transport-logistics, agri-industrial clusters,  the cluster of construction materials and metalwork.
