The Kaluga Automotive Staff Training Center has opened a new laboratory for local automotive staff.
On 26 May 2014 Ruslan Smolensky, Deputy Governor of Kaluga region, and Jean-Christophe Marchal, Director General of PSMA Rus, attended the opening ceremony of a robotics laboratory at the Kaluga Automotive Staff Training Center.
The laboratory was opened as a result of intensive development of computer-aided technologies and implementation of robotized lines at local car manufacturing plants. It has been developed and assembled upon the initiative of and jointly with specialists of PSMA Rus. The new 150 sq m training zone will offer trainings in robot programming skills to the local automotive staff, including robot-aided simulation and implementation of various production operations.
