ROSSPORT to Produce Sportswear in Kaluga
On June 3, within the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), an agreement of intent was signed by and between the Kaluga Region and ROSSPORT for production capacity to produce knitwear and jackets for the sports industry and enterprises.
This document was signed by the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha and General Director of ROSSPORT Sewing-Printing Manufacture LLC Zarina Madzhitova.
The company will locate production facilities at finished sites in the city of Kaluga. The amount of investments at the first stage is more than 300 million rubles. 196 new jobs will be created, most of which are related to product development, engineering and design. A significant part of the production is based on digital and laser technology.
ROSSPORT specializes in sewing uniforms for various sports (volleyball, football, hockey, rowing, skiing, snowboarding, and basketball), applying symbols, making souvenirs and flag products.
