On May 12, the annual All-Russian seminar and meeting of the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation started in Kaluga. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation supported by the government of the Kaluga Region. The main goal is to discuss the industry strategic development and test new educational resources.

The forum was attended by more than 120 people, who involve the heads of education, leading experts and analysts from 85 entities of the Russian Federation, with the representatives of the Lugansk People’s Republic involved. The focus of the agenda is an ecosystem within the Education National Project, the industry’s digital transformation, state policy in the field of vocational and general education, and organization of summer holidays.

Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, opened the forum and noted that modern education should constantly deliver systematic knowledge and practical skills that will benefit the future.

Olga Kazakova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education, noted: “Historical education is a priority state task to be solved by our teachers. The historically correct positioning of the past strengthens our country, and makes its present and future better and stronger.”

Vladislav Shapsha, the Head of the Region, introduced a draft project of the federal technopark in the Kaluga region and paid special attention to the personnel training as the key issue of most regions of Russia. The creation of the technopark will make it possible to solve it as efficiently as possible. It is the first time that this model of space organization has been introduced in education. It will be a large regional college involving the representatives of the real sector of economy and systemic control of the federal ministry. Consolidation will respect the interests of all parties. Opening of the technopark is scheduled for 2022-2024. It will be located in the Kaluga-Yug Industrial Park in the vicinity of the manufacturing enterprises.

The plenary session of the forum was held to discuss the current issues of continuous development of the education system in the Russian Federation. The two-day program also includes educational and practical sessions on solving managerial problems of the Ministry of Education of Russia, thematic discussions with deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, round tables with heads of departments of the Ministry of Education, demonstration and practical testing of My School Platform.
