On March 12, 2013 Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, convened the first meeting of Kaluga Region Investment Council.
A presentation on a project implemented by Agro-Invest OOO in cooperation with its Dutch partners was delivered to the attendees. The project provides for construction of an innovative greenhouse facility to produce vegetables in the territory of Kaluga Region. The first stage of the project is to be implemented in Medyn District. The total area of the greenhouse facility will be 240 ha, 2,700 new jobs are to be created. The project is scheduled for 2014-2015.
In the course of the discussion Anatoly Artamonov highly evaluated the prospects of the innovative agricultural facility meeting the highest standards and environmental requirements to be built in Kaluga Region. He also pointed out that Kaluga Region authorities would provide full-fledged support at all stages of the project implementation.
