Bosco Manufactories. Bosco di Ciliegi Garment Factory Commissioned in Kaluga

An official ceremony dedicated to commissioning of Bosco Manufactories garment factory was held in Kaluga Yug industrial park, Kaluga Region. The ceremony was attended by Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Olga Golodets, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation,  Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga Region, Mikhail Kusnirovich, the head of Bosco di Ciliegi Group, Elena Frantsuzova, Director General, Bosco Manufactories OOO, and other honored guests.

Over RUR 2 billion was invested in the project. The factory personnel consists of about 1,000 highly qualified specialists.

 The factory has an area of 16,000 square meters. Its annual capacity exceeds 3,500,000 knitwear and 120,000 outwear pieces.  The factory is to produce high quality clothing. Its main products are the following: t-shirts, polo shirts, gym suits, windbreakers, coats and parkas. The factory consists of an experimental shop, a production shop, and a training facility.

Bosco Manufactories development strategy provides for exporting top quality garment products under Bosco and other own brands to the CIS and EU countries.      

The factory has an internal instrument laboratory to control the quality of finished products, fabric and garment accessories.  The production facility has all necessary capabilities to design and manufacture sportswear meeting the best global standards for national teams, personnel and volunteers taking part in major sport events and championships.

The head of Bosco Group also plans to produce uniforms for summer camps, including Artek, the most famous children’s camp, as well as for important events.

Mikhail Kusnirovich noted that Bosco factory would become a flagship of light industry both in Kaluga Region and in Russia in general.  He said: “It is a very important project for us. It’s a modern, advanced and automated facility. We are ready to become trend-setters in terms of fashion, technology and style”. At the end of his speech Mikhail Kusnirovich extended his thanks to the Government of Kaluga Region for support provided to the project.    

Igor Levitin, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Olga Golodets, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation  congratulated the company with the commissioning of a major factory.   

Igor Levitin said: “Now Bosco products are manufactured in Russia. We waited for this moment”.

Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga Region Governor, in his turn wished success to the company in its production business. He said: “This is a large-scale project with unique industrial architecture”.

 A Bosco brand shop was opened on this day at the factory territory featuring Fresh and Sport fall/winter collections.

A cherry orchard was planted within the framework of the factory opening ceremony.
