On June 3, Kaluga hosted a roundtable for representatives of the automotive industry. Discussions focused on consumer preferences in the automobile sector, operational models of transfer pricing and business model optimization, principal trends and prevailing fraud schemes affecting the automobile industry.

Dmitry Abramov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Kaluga Region, welcomed the participants on behalf of Kaluga Region’s Government. He noted that the regional automotive cluster already included 30 companies, and that upcoming launches of new production facilities would confirm positive dynamics in development of the automobile industry. “This week, Continental plans the official opening of its Continental Automotive Systems RUS plant for manufacturing of electronic components and fuel supply and injection system elements”, said Dmitry Abramov.
