On January 29, a group of students from the Geography Department of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov arrived to Kaluga Region to study the regional model of social and economic development.
They already got a chance to visit the Automotive Industry Training Center and speak to its head Tatiana Slesareva. The training center was established in 2007 and cooperates with many leading European organization by implementing joint educational projects.
The students will also visit the Volkswagen Group Rus plant at Grabtsevo Industrial Park, where, apart from a tour of the facility, they will get the opportunity to meet the company’s management. In the final part of their visit, guests from the Lomonosov University will have a meeting with representatives of Kaluga Region’s government who will answer their questions about economic priorities in regional development.
