On June 4, at the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Governor of the Region Vladislav Shapsha and the representative of Kronospan Holdings East Limited, Peter Kaindl, signed an investment project agreement for locating an enterprise for the production of particle boards and composite particle boards in the Kaluga region.
The construction of the third plant of one of the world’s leading wood processing manufacturers – the Austrian Holding Kronospan – will become a new stage in the industry development in the region. Investments in Kronospan DSP will amount to about 10 billion rubles. 100 positions will be created.
This is the third project of the company at the Lyudinovskaya site of the Kaluga ISEZ. The Kronospan Kaluga fiberboard plants and Ultra Decor Rus finished cellulose base paper plants are already under construction here.
Vladislav Shapsha trusted that this project will be a success. In his opinion, the signing of the agreement is the ‘tip of the iceberg’ of painstaking work of the holding’s specialists and the Government of the Kaluga region to do together.
